Private Sanctuary

The design brief for this project was to create a private backyard space where the clients can unwind from a busy week. The clients wanted to see if different textural elements could be incorporated with an outdoor bath to add interest.

Once a vintage outdoor bath was purchased the next step was to convert a disused corner of the garden with a clever curving hardwood deck which seamlessly transforms into a striking wall.

 

Aquatech plumbing incorporated beautiful bespoke copper taps and a rustic pipe sculpture crafted by Green Therapy, transforms evenings with soft discreet lighting.

Sarcococca ruscifolia and has been planted amongst Hokitika stone which will grow to nestle the space with a textural evergreen frame and has an amazing winter scent.
